Saleback privacy policy

Effective 3 October 2026. Kehr & Co. LLC (“we”) makes Saleback, an app for Shopify stores.

What Saleback collects

When a store installs Saleback, Shopify gives the app access to the store’s products. Saleback stores:

Saleback does not request access to customers or orders and stores no information about a store’s customers.

Why

Only to run the app: to change prices when a sale starts, to put them back when it ends, and to show the merchant a record of every change. We don’t sell data, show ads, or use it for anything else.

Where it is kept

On servers run by our hosting provider, Fly.io, in the United States. Saleback also saves each original price on the product variant in the store, in a metafield named saleback.original_price, so prices can be recovered even without the app.

How long

While the app is installed. When a store uninstalls Saleback, Shopify revokes the app’s access straight away and, 48 hours later, asks us to delete the store’s data. We then delete every record for that store. The metafields on the store’s own variants stay until the merchant removes them.

Requests from customers

Shopify forwards customer data requests and deletion requests to every app. Saleback holds no customer data, so there is nothing to return or delete.

Who else sees it

Shopify, which runs the store and bills the subscription, and Fly.io, which hosts the app. No one else.

Your rights

A merchant can ask what we hold, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing hello@kehrandco.com. Every sale’s full price record can also be downloaded from the app as a CSV file.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and, for meaningful changes, tell merchants in the app.
